Episode 2.8 Non-Fiction Review
I love non-fiction so much, but I know it can be hard to get into. Every season, we will have one non-fiction review episode where I give you a short overview of some of the non-fiction books I have read and enjoyed lately. Then, if any sound good, you can explore those instead of having to sift through all of the non-fiction out there! This review will include 5 books:
1. The Prisoner in His Palace by Will Bardenwerper
2. Confidence Man by Maggie Haberman
3. I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
4. Henry VIII by Derek Wilson
5. Harriet Tubman by Catherine Clinton

What kind of non-fiction do you like to read? Is it about a certain person, time period, or place? Or is it more a style that you like?
Next week for Episode 9, we will be discussing The Women of Chateau Lafayette by Stephanie Dray. It is a big book, but worth the read!
For Episode 10:
Cold War spies
New TV show based on the book
Based on a real story and people
MI6 and the Russians
Other things to do
Something to listen to: Taylor Swift just announced the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) this summer and I am very excited! If I wasn’t already listening to her music on repeat in preparation for her concert, I would start!
Something else to read: I’ve been rereading Throne of Glass as I finally got the second book from the library and I can’t wait to start it.
Something to watch: I marathoned the new Bridgerton show, Queen Charlotte, this weekend and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend for any Bridgerton fans out there!
